THE CHALLENGE

EN:Able Build was the land promoter for the Ryehill Grove land led development plan for 65 new affordable homes in Hull, announced in August 2023.

THE OUTCOME

The £11 million development forms part of the Holderness Road Corridor Area Action Plan and will feature two-, three- and four-bedroom rentals. Designed by Leeds-based Acanthus WSM Architects, the site will include 31 two-bedroom, 28 three-bedroom and six four-bedroom homes which will benefit from private rear gardens and parking. Accessibility and adaptability standards will be adopted for 16 homes. Over 20 per cent of the properties will be built with enhanced accessibility features including ramp access and ground floor shower rooms. Together Housing Group will take ownership of the properties when Esh Construction completes the build.
