WHO ARE EN:ABLE
COMMUNITIES?
EN:Able Communities is a charitable organisation dedicated to improving the quality of life for tenants and residents within social housing.
OUR VISION
Empower and support communities within social housing to be more sustainable
ENERGY ADVICE
Helping tenants and residents of Efficiency North’s social housing providers live healthier lives in warmer homes. Address fuel poverty by guiding residents on how to reduce energy costs and improve the energy efficiency of their homes. We also offer support to reduce condensation and mould, contributing to the better maintenance of housing assets.
RETROFIT TRAINING
We promote industry-led training to attract new talent and upskill existing workers in the social housing sector. By working closely with other stakeholders, EN:Able Communities ensures that training meets the needs of the sector, ultimately increasing productivity and workforce competence.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT
In response to the cost of living and energy crises, EN:Able Communities has previously offered grants to micro community groups, when resources allowed. These grants supported local initiatives, such as community warmth hubs and the provision of electric blankets, to help those struggling to keep warm.
