SKILLS AND EMPLOYMENT
SOCIAL RETURN ON INVESTMENT (SORI)
IMPACT PORTAL
EN:Procure works in partnership with Impact Social Value Reporting Ltd to develop our social value and sustainable initiatives across our Gen-4 Frameworks at all stages of contractor engagement, focusing on three areas:
TENDER PROCESS
Bidding contractors submit their ESG bids directly to the portal where we can evaluate and score them, with successful bids converting into ‘Live Projects’ upon award ready for contractors to achieve the targets they have set.
DATA CAPTURE
Contractors submit quarterly progress updates through the portal with accompanying evidence for review, allowing early intervention of any non-conformance.
ANALYSIS & REPORTING
The portal provides an easy, all-in-one space to store and retrieve data which can be used for analysis and reporting.
ESG UNITS
Our frameworks include dynamic models for ESG delivery. Contractors are required to deliver one ESG unit per £50,000 contract spend to provide a wide range of social, economic and environmental benefits for communities served by Efficiency North’s membership of social housing providers. Social value outcomes are measured through the National TOMS system.
ESG UNITS INCLUDE:
- Educational activities that support construction sector career progression for students.
- Volunteer Days To Support Local Community Organisations.
- Donations To En:Able Communities Cio Or En:Able Futures Cic.
- Upskilling workforces through short training courses.
- Work Experience Or T-Level Opportunities For Students Pursuing Careers In The Construction Sector.
- T-Level Work Placement For A Full-Time Student.
- New Full-Time Employment Position With The Supplier’s Organisation Or Through Their Supply Chain
- Apprenticeships, Either Directly Or Through En:Able Futures Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Service.

EN:Able Futures employs apprentices directly, dealing with recruitment, payroll, qualifications, training and mentoring, allowing you to focus on growing your business.
SUCCESS & SUPPORT
Our team of Apprenticeship Managers provide regular support, advice and guidance to every apprentice and company hosting them, ensuring that 98% of our apprentices, who complete their qualification, go onto full-time employment or into further education.
