EN:Able Futures and EN:Able Communities welcomes you to the next Employment and Skills webinar with guest speakers Richard Rigby (Head of UK Government Affairs at The King’s Trust) and James Treherne (Regional Technical Manager – Structherm Ltd).
Focusing on the current new Labour government, the webinar will provide an opportunity to hear about up-and-coming changes in legislation concerning young people, employers, employment & skills and apprenticeships. We will also be speaking about the Youth Employment Group, an organisation which ensures there is a quality employment, education or training pathway for all young people, particularly the most marginalised.
The key findings of the Youth Voice Census Report are an important subject we will be highlighting, this is the largest survey of young people in the UK and it’s vital to address any concerns or opportunities they may see. We will be looking closely at how support and mentoring of young apprentices is done in the most effective way possible and how this is key to their success.
