Richard is an experienced legal and commercial professional with over 25 years’ expertise advising on complex contract, procurement and construction matters across the housing, local government and public sectors. As Head of Legal, Contracts and Commercial at Vico Homes, he leads on a wide range of commercial and legal issues, helping to deliver effective solutions that support investment, regeneration and housing development programmes.
Prior to joining Vico Homes, Richard served as Principal Solicitor at Manchester City Council, where he advised on major regeneration and infrastructure projects, including the RHS Garden Bridgewater development, the Manchester Civic Quarter Heat Network and the Port Salford Regeneration Scheme. He has also held senior roles in private practice and local government, providing specialist legal advice on public procurement, construction, strategic partnerships, outsourcing and public-private sector joint ventures.
