Show home opens at Leeds Federated Colliers Park scheme

Leeds Federated Housing Association has announced the opening of its brand new 4-bedroom show home at Colliers Park, Oulton, showcasing the quality and comfort of its latest shared ownership homes.

The development is designed for people who want to stay connected to the city while enjoying a more relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere in a local community.

The show home located on Wordsworth Drive, at the Colliers Park estate in Oulton, highlights Leeds Federated’s commitment to creating affordable, sustainable homes that people are proud to live in. It features spacious and flexible living areas, modern kitchen and bathroom designs, high-quality finishes throughout and energy-efficient materials and fittings.

The regeneration of the homes at Sugar Hill Close and Wordsworth Drive was partially funded through Homes England’s Strategic Partnership with Accent Housing, as part of the government’s Affordable Homes Programme (AHP) 2021-26. The homes are being delivered in partnership with Yorkshire-based contractor Termrim Construction, who were appointed through EN:Procure’s new build framework.  The complex nature of programming and phased handover were greatly assisted by Termrim’s early involvement.  Leeds Federated purchased the regeneration site in 2022 from a private developer. The existing Airey homes were built by the National Coal Board as temporary housing to meet post-war demand.  The remainder of the new homes are expected to be completed in 2026.

We’re so excited to welcome people into our new show home,” said Georgina Nijjar, Head of Development at Leeds Federated. “Colliers Park demonstrates how shared ownership can open the door to beautiful, high-quality homes in fantastic locations. We’re looking forward to welcoming a new group of residents to the Colliers Park scheme so that they can set up their forever homes in a close knit, established community.”
