New Community Foundation Fund opens 13 April

We’re excited to announce that EN:Able Communities CIO will open the new Community Foundation Fund for grant applications on 13 April.

The new fund has a total pot of £250k available for local charities and groups operating in communities served by our membership. The Community Foundation Fund has been created to support organisations or groups which will benefit local communities of our members. We will award grants to support local communities located largely, but not exclusively, within the Yorkshire and Humber area, Lincolnshire and North Derbyshire.

Local charities and groups can apply for grants of up to £5k to purchase equipment and items for projects that are reducing poverty and/or supporting healthy living.  Trustees will also consider a small number of grants of up to £25k for projects with greater need and larger impact.

The funding pot has been gifted to the charity from specialist procurement arm EN:Procure to celebrate EN:Able Communities’ 10th anniversary.

More information about the Community Foundation Fund is now available here https://www.efficiencynorth.org/community-foundation-fund/.

The application form and guidance will be available on this page when the Fund opens on 13 April.
