Leeds conference to gather contractors and learning providers to address challenges to skilled retrofit workforce.
EN:Able Communities CIO are hosts of the Retrofit Skills and Business Growth Summit – Yorkshire on Monday 8th July at Printworks, Leeds City College.
Funded by the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) North East and Yorkshire Net Zero Hub and sponsored by Lovell Partnerships, the one day conference will bring together Efficiency North’s retrofit contractors and consultants and leading training providers in Yorkshire to explore the challenges of delivering the skills and workforce needed to meet the demands of the growing demand for retrofit works.
A range of expert speakers from the National Homes Decarbonisation Group, West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA), Leeds College of Building, Good People, the National Retrofit Hub, and Exeter College will lead discussion on national policies, innovative learning pathways, and the current and future landscape of retrofit-related training in Yorkshire.
This event will provide an opportunity for contractors to speak to industry leaders and have a voice in how we can shape the future of retrofit training to deliver the skilled workforce needed.
