We are delighted to announce the appointment of new Directors of Operations for EN:Procure Ltd. The appointments are made to boost the team’s capacity in response to the challenges of the sector landscape.
EN:Procure has made excellent progress over the past five years under Emma Mottram’s leadership, more than quadrupling frameworks turnover from £70.4m in 2018/19 to £335m in 2023/24, almost doubling membership from 29 to 56, maintaining a high SROI (Social Return on Investment) value for members and growing the team from 8 to 13 members in that time. The company also extended its geographical reach beyond its Yorkshire and Humber footprint to cover Northern England and attracted interest for its specialist services from further afield.
These outstanding results have been achieved against a background of global pandemic and geopolitical instability leading to a volatile economy and challenging market conditions.
To strengthen and elevate EN:Procure’s service offer further, EN are pleased to appoint three directors of operations to lead three core market growth segments. Emma Mottram will lead Planned Works, Procurement, Consultancy and Compliance; Carl Bairstow will lead on Membership, Retrofit and Materials; and Richard Greenwood will lead New Build and Land Development. They will all report to Chief Executive Lee Parkinson.
This is an exciting step in EN:Procure’s evolution. With this trio of strong leaders at the helm, harnessing their combined total eight decades of industry experience, EN:Procure will be well placed to capitalise on the high demands for the team’s expertise, knowledge and skills following the implementation of the new Procurement Act regulations.
Chief Executive Lee Parkinson said: “I am delighted to appoint Emma, Carl and Richard to their new positions. EN:Procure Ltd has grown significantly under Emma’s leadership and now the new team will build upon that growth to develop our existing offer along the new service streams to further expand our capacity with new and innovative approaches to procurement and contract management. As the sector redoubles its efforts to provide more warm, safe and affordable housing in a complex market, post significant public sector procurement regulatory change, EN:Procure Ltd will be well placed to provide its members with experienced capacity to deliver its high-quality procurement and contract management offer in a consciously commercial way.”
