Grant Giving

Over the past 5 years EN:Able Communities has awarded over £1.1m in funding to community groups, people and projects across Yorkshire and Humber. We have three main avenues for grant giving:

  1. Apprentice Support Grants – grants to help both hire and keep apprentices in work.

  2. Social Mobility Fund – a grant scheme that is designed to provide funding to projects that aim to improve Social Mobility across Yorkshire and Humber.

  3. Discretionary Grants – grants provided either in times of hardship, or for unique and innovative programmes that support our aims.

Between 2015 - 2018, we also ran the Community Investment Fund. Through this grant fund we provided over £600,000 in funding to community projects and groups.
