EN:Able Futures expands Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Service

Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Service expands into new sectors and regions

EN:Able Futures are pleased to announce that the Department for Education has approved their expansion of the Flex-Job Apprenticeship offer to include new sectors, standards and regions.

EN:Able Futures is now government-approved to provide Flexi-job apprenticeships in:

  • Construction & Built Environment
  • Agriculture & Environmental
  • Engineering & Manufacturing

Within these sectors EN:Able Futures are approved to deliver all standards across levels 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 for Trade, Technical/Professional and Higher/Degree level apprenticeships.

The regions EN:Able Futures operate in have also expanded to include Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Teesside, North East and Yorkshire & Humberside.

Being on the government's register of Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Agencies demonstrates that EN:Able Futures has met the gold standard required to provide flexi-job apprenticeship services.

EN:Able Futures was originally appointed to the government’s register of Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Agencies in January 2022.   Their outstanding track record of providing apprenticeships for hundreds of young people in the construction industry in Yorkshire and Humber through their Shared Apprenticeship Service since 2013 clearly demonstrated their services to be of the gold standard required.

The flexi-job apprenticeship register, announced in August 2021 by the ESFA (Education and Skills Funding Agency), is designed to create benefits for employers in industries such as construction, where it is often difficult for companies to employ apprentices for a full 12-month time period due to the nature of construction new build, repair and maintenance projects.

EN:Able Futures Director of Operations Julie Deeley commented, “Gaining government approval for expansion reflects the hard work of the EN:Able Futures CIC team and is testimony to their hard work and dedication to the young people they support through their apprenticeship journey.  We are delighted to have this further official endorsement to expand our flexi-job apprenticeship services so we can bring a wider range of career opportunities to more young people in more industries and regions through our award-winning model.”
