Celebrating Apprentice Achievement: Cara Miller

Business Administration Apprentice Cara Miller celebrates completing her apprenticeship and her new permanent position.

To celebrate our apprentices’ achievements, we present them with a certificate to mark the occasion.

Cara began her Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice in 2020 with host company Aspect Contracts, a leading national asbestos abatement service provider, and has successfully completed her qualification early, despite doing it during the pandemic. She has also been offered and accepted a full-time position with Aspect at their headquarters in Leeds.

Cara had previously gained recognition for her work by winning Highly Commended at the EN:Able Futures Social Value Awards in 2021.

Aspect Contracts have been extremely impressed with Cara’s performance in the office, where she has consistently proved herself to be a vital part of the team. Businesses have faced many challenges during the pandemic. During national lockdowns, when attendance at the office was reduced and many staff were on furlough, Cara was the one employee attending the office every day to ensure the day to day running of the business was not interrupted.

Alan Mitton, Group Commercial Manager at Aspect Contracts Ltd, said: "What was initially a six-month trial, led onto an 18 month partnership and a full time role for Cara within group. This has now moved onto a wider partnership with us and EN:Able Futures to recruit for a further 2 apprentices."

Cara is celebrating her achievement and new job by going on a well-earned holiday in the sun with friends.
