EN:Able Futures recruited two new Kickstarters in October 2021 as part of the Kickstart Initiative Scheme.
They have taken on Tristan Cudbertson, to fulfill the 6 month placement as Training Support and Site Assistant and Natasha Wray, to fullfill her 6 month Kickstart placement as Communications Executive Assistant.
As part of his new role, Tristan will be supporting staff, learners and visitors on site. He will also support the running of the Construction training facility and assisting with site welfare checks, monitoring trainees doing training to ensure that they get their correct virtual training course and complete them.
Tristan has had a good experience so far and seems to be progressing very well and adjusting to his new career.
We asked Tristan how he’s found his Kickstart journey so far:
“My experience so far has been great; everyone has been very friendly and welcomed me instantly and I have found the work and workplace very enjoyable. Eddy has really made easier for me he has shown me how to do so many things, so I go to him for support. I had some challenges understanding certain things such as the websites, but I was able to solve them with help and guidance.”
Eddy Dennis at EN:Able Futures is really pleased with Tristan and how he has settled into the business and his new role, and says:

Natasha Wray, EN:Able Futures new Communications Executive Assistant will assist with EN:Able Futures marketing activities and social media promotional support by working closely with Peter Morris, Marketing Executive, Efficiency North to produce EN:Able Futures’ apprentices related content on our social media channels and Adobe Create Suite training to help her get up to speed with Photoshop and other creative software programmes.
Natasha has an existing creative skillset spawning from her time in college where she completed Creative Media courses that specialised in film and TV in 2018. Natasha then went on to qualify on a Public Services course during her 2nd year.
We asked Natasha how she's been getting on:
"I found my first week really exciting. I was very nervous at first due to never having a job before but after settling in I feel like I'm starting to become part of the team. The biggest issue I've faced so far was technology as I had some issues with the laptop charging and logging in for the 1st time but apart from that is was all amazing and kinda fun"
Peter Morris has been guiding Natasha through her first week and is very pleased with how she is getting on so far.
"After only one week Natasha has already proved how keen she is to get stuck into her role and make the most of her time spent with Efficiency North.
