FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Apprentices have had a positive impact on productivity within most businesses; the reason why, not only does training help them to become more competent and proficient in their roles, but an apprentice can also free up time for more senior staff to focus on key areas of their work, while the apprentice takes care of everyday tasks to work towards their skills competencies. Apprentices enable you to develop vital skills that are relevant to your business.

Our service is simple, flexible and easy to access.  We take the risk and work out of you employing an apprentice direct, allowing you to concentrate on your business. We source the training, and the funding required, and manage a rigorous recruitment process from start to finish employing the apprentice ourselves, saving you both time and money.  When an EN:Able Futures apprentice is on your project, you and the apprentice are guaranteed our full support for the duration of the placement and beyond.

For many, an apprenticeship is likely to be their first full time job. A young person needs a period of adjustment to get used to the differences between education and the workplace and our apprentice managers are experts at helping apprentices make the transition.  Let us employ, manage and support your apprentices for you. We provide pastoral guidance on issues outside of the workplace, academic collaboration with colleges to ensure successful completion, and a reliable in-work support for both the apprentice and the host. An EN:Able Futures managed apprentice allows you to get on with what you do best.

We can provide suitable candidates at all apprenticeship levels starting at Level 2, through to Degree level. We will consider any type of position within the Construction and Built Environment sector, covering all trades and commercial apprenticeships: we also consider other roles for example business, finance and  IT.

Contractors are charged a weekly fee for all apprentice hours worked on site and at college.  Included in this fee is a contribution towards initial recruitment costs, a CSCS card & basic PPE, the apprentice pay and travel allowance, plus ongoing apprentice management, HR and payroll.

All EN:Able Futures apprentices are hand-picked by our experienced recruitment and arrive on their first day with a contractor, with basic PPE and details of their CSCS test pass ready to receive a site induction.
