Together Housing Group's demoliton of 6 low rise blocks delivered through the Asbestos & Demolition Framework

Together Housing Group utilised the EN:Procure Asbestos and Demolition Framework  for the Demolition 6Nr Low Rise Blocks of Flat Located at Sowerby Bridge.

Following a mini-competition process, DSR Ltd were appointed as the demolition contractor for the works. The site had various complexities, including difficult topography and premises being retained that were occupied. However, despite these challenges, the scheme completes to time & to budget.

The management, coordination and liaison undertaken by DSR was well managed and welcomed by the neighbouring properties.

A note of thanks was received from PCC Christ Church Sowerby Bridge, which read:

“Thank you for being so co-operative towards church during the demolition work. It was kind and considerate of you to work around our services and I’m glad the whole job went smoothly, and you had a “safe site”. From our point of view the disruption was minimal and the communication with us was great.”

Vice Chair Julie Smith of SDA consulting who were appointed as Employers Agent for the scheme, commented about the Framework:
