EN:Able Futures: Celebrating a Hat-trick of Award Wins in Apprenticeship Excellence

EN:Able Futures has made a significant mark in the apprenticeship sector, achieving three prestigious awards in 2024. The social enterprise has been recognised for its innovative approach to apprenticeship management and dedication to fostering future talent in construction and beyond.

 
 

AWARD-WINNING APPRENTICESHIPS

This year EN:Able Futures been awarded:

  • SME Apprenticeship Employer of the Year at the Yorkshire and Humber regional Apprenticeship and Skills Awards 2024. This Department for Education-run event celebrated the organisation’s impact on regional apprenticeships, with EN:Able Futures now heading to the national finals in London on 27th November.
  • SME Apprenticeship Employer of the Year at the East Yorkshire Apprenticeship Awards 2024, celebrating the organisation’s commitment to creating apprenticeship opportunities in the built environment sector.
  • Construction Apprenticeship Employer of the Year at the Construction Apprenticeship Awards 2024, showcasing the pivotal role EN:Able Futures plays in breaking down barriers for small and medium-sized businesses within the construction industry.

In addition to these organisational accolades, EN:Able Futures’ apprentices have also been recognised for their exceptional contributions:

  • Liam Mansbridge, hosted by Termrim Construction, won Higher Apprentice of the Year at the East Yorkshire Apprenticeship Awards and Level 4 Construction Apprentice of the Year at the Construction Apprenticeship Awards.
  • Lauren Raynor, hosted by Alan Wood & Partners, was awarded Level 3 Construction Apprentice of the Year at the Construction Apprenticeship Awards.
  • Harvey Dobson, hosted by Alan Wood & Partners, was a finalist for Advanced Apprentice of the Year at the East Yorkshire Apprenticeship Awards, demonstrating the continued excellence of EN:Able Futures’ program.
  • Amelia Johnson-Lynch was awarded L6 Construction Apprentice of the Year, having started her apprenticeship journey with EN:Able Futures in 2018.
  • Katy Robinson won G4C Future Leader 2024 at the  Generation 4 Change (G4C) Awards 2024, having started her career with an EN:Able Futures apprenticeship in 2017.
