EN:Procure were pleased to welcome 2 new team members on 15 October. Operations Managers David Turner and Debra Kingham bring a wealth of procurement expertise and experience to extend EN’s outstanding specialist procurement service for members.

David Turner MBA, MCIPS has over 40 years of procurement and commercial management experience gained across the Private and Public Sectors, including senior management roles at HSBC,  Places for People and Guinness Partnership.  His work has included complex change management and cost reduction programmes where he has delivered significant process efficiencies and cost savings. He has implemented and developed procurement and commercial functions in Private companies, Housing Groups and Local Authorities and has specific interests in Purchase to Pay systems and eSourcing.

Debra Kingham’s background is in quantity surveying in the Public and Private sectors, with previous contract management and procurement roles at Thames Water Utilities, Balfour Beatty, Barnsley MBC, Berneslai Homes, St Leger Homes of Doncaster and, most recently, in Highways Development Control with Doncaster Council, which added planning process and development control to her skills portfolio.

EN:Procure Head of Operations Emma Mottram, who leads the now 10-strong specialist team, commented;

“We are delighted that David and Debra have joined the Efficiency North team. They both bring excellent skills and experience to the organisation which complement the strong commercial skills we already have in the team. Investing in capacity will further improve our procurement and contract management services for our members.  We recognise the pressures that our members face in terms of reduced investment budgets and potential impact of Brexit. I am sure that the strengthened team will further maximise efficiency.”
