Our Construction Skills 4 Life service, funded by CITB programme Pathways Into Construction, has launched a new series of free training opportunities for people in and around Hull that will get learners ready to work in construction and the built environment.
We are offering eight days of free training to anyone who is not currently employed or in education, who is interested in starting a career in construction, particularly women.
Construction Skills 4 Life @ Humber Construction Hub will provide learners with accreditations in First Aid, Health & Safety and Manual Handling, along with a Construction Skills Certification Card (CSCS Card) the is required to work on live building sites.
Additionally learners will also receive a tour of a live construction project and a a guaranteed job interview at the end of the training.
A holding a taster session is being held at the Humber Construction Hub in Bransholme on Monday 20th January, where anyone interested in the training can come along and see if it is right for them.
