Connect Housing are now seeking experienced and qualified contractors interested in delivering Repairs and Maintenance works in West Yorkshire. Acting on behalf of Connect Housing, social housing procurement specialists EN:Procure have issued an OJEU notice for the contract.
The procurement opportunity, which offers a real prospect for companies of all sizes to win social housing repairs work in their own neighbourhoods, is split into the following 6 lots:
Lot 1 – General Building Works Repairs – including excavation, brick and masonry walling repairs and alterations, chimney stacks repairs/rebuilding, render repairs, joinery/ fitting repairs & replacements, floor repairs, paths and paving repairs and alterations, gates/fencing repairs, tiling, painting, drainage renewal and installations and any other sundry/miscellaneous repairs items.
Lot 2 – Roofing and Roofline Works – including chimney repairs, lead work repairs, roof pointing repairs, roof inspections, roof insulation, tile / slate repairs, felt roof repairs, single ply roof membranes, decking repairs, sheet metal roofing and non-asbestos cement roofing renewals. Also including timber fascia and soffits, upvc fascia and soffits, upvc gutters and fall pipes, seamless aluminium gutters.
Lot 3 – Electrical Works – including fittings, renewal of circuits, ancillary equipment, condition testing, portable appliance testing, simple heating and ventilation and lighting.
Lot 4 – Damp and Timber Treatment Works – including damp and timber treatments and associated remedial/reinstatement repairs.
Lot 5 – Drainage Works – including unblocking, excavation, drainage renewal and installations.
Lot 6 – Void Cleaning Works – including cleaning of empty dwellings, isolated deep cleans, graffiti removal, carpet cleaning.
Connect Housing Association is a community benefit society providing over 3,000 social housing properties grouped and pepper potted across the whole of West Yorkshire for a variety of different types of households, which will be predominately occupied during the works.
