Luke joins GS Kelsey Construction Ltd as a Level 2 Joiner in Scunthorpe where he is working on a site that will deliver 37 new affordable homes for the largest housing provider in North Lincolnshire and neighbouring areas, Ongo.
The project is over half way complete, but there is still lots to do and much experience for Luke to gain as he starts on the path to his new career. Luke said: "I'm learning something new every day and really enjoying the experience."
As an EN:Able Futures employed apprentice Luke receives support from his dedicated Development Coach, Tracy Worsnop, who give him guidance around his work and qualifications to make sure he's always on track and supported if he needs it.
This personalised approach to apprenticeships ensures that 98% of apprentices who complete their training will go onto full time employment or higher education by the time their apprenticeship finishes.
