Lee Winterbottom appointed Deputy Chair of EN:Able Communities


Managing Director of Berneslai Homes Construction Services appointed to new role in charity

EN:Able Communities is delighted that trustee Lee Winterbottom has accepted the role of Deputy Chair of the charity at their quarterly trustee meeting on Thursday 8 September.

Lee was appointed as a trustee 2 years ago following his appointment as director to Efficiency North Holdings board representing member Berneslai Homes.

Lee joined Berneslai Homes as Managing Director of Construction Services in October 2018. He has responsibility for the operational and financial performance of Construction Services which is the in-house workforce. He is also part of Berneslai Homes executive team.

He has worked in construction all his working life, and in the property social housing sector for the last 22 years where he has held a number of roles. Lee is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building and is also actively involved in many networks and working groups that focus on improving the efficiency of  in-house workforces and the retrofit agenda.

EN:Able Communities Chair Ken Taylor said; "Since he became a trustee, Lee has made a fantastic contribution to the work of the charity.  It's great to have him as Deputy Chair as we develop into new areas of work. His background as Managing Director of Constrluction Services at Berneslai Homes is invaluable to ensure we meet the needs of the housing sector."
