Howdens win Macro Employer of the Year

Howdens win award at Yorkshire and Humber regional National Apprenticeship Awards

Howdens have been awarded Macro Employer of the Yearat for Yorkshire and Humber at the National Apprenticeship awards 2022.

Part of their winning entry was about the levy transfer they share with EN:Able Futures that fund many of the  apprenticeships we provide.

Joanne Blackham Chartered MCIPD, Learning and Development Manager at howdens, said: “We are so pleased to be recognised for the support we are providing to small businesses in our communities. Howdens uses a portion of its apprenticeship levy to give more people the opportunity to take up an apprenticeship. We are helping build skills for the future.”

Julie Deeley, Director of  Operations, EN:Able Futures, said: EN:Able Futures are lucky to be on the receiving end of Howdens shared levy. Without it we might not be able to provide so many great opportunities for potential apprentices."
