On Saturday 10th June EN:Procure's Frameworks Manager, Jed Turner competed in the British Masters Track and Field Championships held in Derby. Jed competed against the best runners in the country over the distances of 800m, 1500m and 400m for the M60 category.
Jed performed exceptionally in these races and he finished first in the 800m, bagging himself a gold medal in an astonishing time of 2 minutes and 20 seconds. Jed also went on to win silver for the 1500m in a time of 4 minutes and 53 seconds and finished in 5th place in the 400m in a time of 62 seconds.
Jed tells us:
"It was a great day and good preparation for the World Championships which take place in Finland in 2 weeks’ time where I will compete in the 800m, 1500m and 5000m."
