EN:Able Futures are thrilled to be working in partnership with The Humber Bridge Board to support their Infrastructure and Engineering Department initially with technical skills. We have had an excellent response to our recent advertisement for a Civil Engineering Apprentice to join the ‘newly formed’ Engineering Team based at the Humber Bridge.
This is an exciting time to be joining the ‘Humber Bridge Team’ with new leadership and management and a structure in place to move forward into the team forward into the future.
The iconic Humber Bridge is the vital link between East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire since officially opening in 1981 and is now carrying record levels of traffic. It is the eighth longest single-span suspension bridge in the world and remains the longest in the world you can walk or cycle over (we would highly recommend this) – all seasons!
We are looking forward to working in partnership with the team, developing careers activity and think this opportunity provides a fantastic platform to build a clear picture of engineering and technical opportunities and help inform future career paths. Andrew Arundel, Head of Infrastructure and Engineering is excited by the opportunity for an apprentice to join the new Engineering Team.
