Gabriele Wins Level 4 Construction Apprentice of the Year

EN:Able Futures is is thrilled to unveil the triumph of Gabriele D’Alessio at this year's Construction Apprenticeship Awards.

EN:Able Futures, a flexi-job apprenticeship agency operating in the construction sector throughout the North of England, is thrilled to unveil the triumph of Gabriele D’Alessio, a standout Level 4 Construction Apprentice, at this year’s Construction Apprenticeship Awards.

The Construction Apprenticeship Awards serve as a spotlight for acknowledging the unwavering commitment, tireless efforts, and exceptional contributions of individuals and organisations pivotal in shaping the future of construction apprenticeships.

Gabriele D’Alessio recently completed his Level 4 Site Supervisor apprenticeship, surpassing expectations in his role with Esh Construction, his latest host organisation. Towards the culmination of his apprenticeship, Gabriele seamlessly transitioned into a fully-fledged Site Supervisor, entrusted with comprehensive responsibilities including site walks, snagging, maintaining the site diary, overseeing Health & Safety, managing trades, handling stock and supplies, and invoicing. Throughout this journey, Gabriele consistently maintained an exemplary level of professionalism.

Karl Deacon, Site Manager at Esh Construction, commended Gabriele, stating, “Gabriele’s punctuality and attendance have been impeccable since day one. His overall performance leaves nothing to be desired. Gabriele has shown no areas for improvement since joining us, displaying initiative and a strong work ethic to keep the project on track. Not only is he excellent at his on-site duties, but he also exhibits a genuine passion for championing apprenticeships and supporting fellow apprentices to excel.”

Since the start of his apprenticeship, Gabriele has remained steadfast in his studies, achieving a Distinction grade for his end-point assessment with CIOB in July 2023.

Expressing his gratitude, Gabriele D’Alessio remarked, “Winning Construction Apprentice of The Year is a tremendous honor. I owe a significant debt of gratitude to EN:Able Futures for their incredible support and guidance, which has empowered me to thrive in my career.”

Hannah Norton, Gabriele’s Apprenticeship Manager and a finalist herself in the Construction Apprenticeship Champion of the Year category, provided insight into Gabriele’s journey, staying, “Gabriel’s success is a testament to his hard work and dedication in building a brilliant career in the construction industry. It also reflects the effectiveness of EN:Able Futures’ apprenticeship program, which closely mentors each apprentice and supports every host to ensure expectations are not only reached but exceeded, and I am thrilled to have contributed to Gabriele’s growth and development.”
