Brief description of duties:
My main duties are working alongside Civil and Structural Engineers by completing drafting work for them that they have designed. I also help on site when it is required, this mainly includes taking a role in a form of survey.
What difference has doing the apprenticeship made to your life?
The apprenticeship has helped me develop my knowledge in the Construction Industry by giving me a basic understanding of what goes into Civil and Structural Engineering. I have also learned to drive and have a years’ experience in driving.
What are your aims for your future career?
I am aiming to be a qualified Technician with experience in all civil and structural work that I could be given.
George has now completed his L3 qualification and has progressed on to his L4/5 HNC/HND with EN: Able Futures.
