Daisy Shines as Rising Star at Wates Property Maintenance

Daisy receives high praise from her Training Manager at Wates Property Services.

Having only joined EN:Able Futures in March as a Property Maintenance Apprentice, Daisy is already receiving recognition for her outstanding dedication to her profession from her host Wates Property Services.

Daisy is undertaking a Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship with Wates Property Services as part of EN:Procure’s framework contract with Sheffield City Council to provide Aids & Adaptations to its properties.

Alan Bolsover, Training Manager at Wates Property Services,  praises Daisy’s remarkable recent achievement. “It’s so refreshing to have such a young operative eager to set standards. What an absolute star we have in the making,” he said.

Daisy’s recent accomplishment in completing Wates approved abrasive wheel training in Sheffield at her first attempt has left her colleagues in awe. “This will make the boys think twice now,” Alan said, highlighting Daisy’s exceptional competence and determination.

For Daisy, the journey from novice to proficient operator has been exceptional. With her first experience handling an angle grinder and cutting or grinding discs, she showcased an innate talent and a thirst for knowledge. Not only did she complete a mock exam flawlessly, achieving a perfect score of 100%, but she also demonstrated key attributes that make her a standout asset for Wates.

Her positive attitude, clear understanding, hands-on approach, and unwavering compliance with safety protocols are qualities that set her apart. “We have a young operative with all the right attributes to become a total asset to Wates,” Alan said.

Behind Daisy’s success lies a supportive team at Wates, dedicated to nurturing talent and fostering a culture of excellence. Alan extends his gratitude to all who have contributed to Daisy’s journey, acknowledging their role in shaping her into the exceptional professional she is becoming.

Daisy’s story serves as a testament to the opportunities for growth and advancement within Wates Property Services. As she continues to excel in her apprenticeship, Daisy embodies the company’s ethos of innovation, excellence, and dedication to fostering talent. With her bright future ahead, Daisy is poised to make a lasting impact in the world of property maintenance and beyond.
