Employment and Training Support

Our Hardship Fund

We understand that both practical and financial issues can sometimes get in the way of people pursing their learning and training goals. Because of this, EN:Able Communities provides bursaries, expenses, driving lessons, and toolkits for apprentices and trainees appointed through EN:Procure's procurement frameworks.

Through these discretionary funds we can work learners to address their individual needs, enabling them to start and carry on their training in situations where they would otherwise struggle to do so.

Investing in People

Across 2018/19, in addition to the apprenticeship opportunities that EN:Procure's framework contracting partners are required to deliver, EN:Able Communities invested £195,000 to support a minimum of 55 people through our network of Local Employment Groups within Yorkshire and Humber. This targeted funding supported people from disadvantaged backgrounds to become ‘work ready’, gain an apprenticeship, or enter into employment
