Charlie Brady wins at West Yorkshire Apprenticeship Awards

Charlie Brady, a Level 4 Construction Quantity Surveying Technician Apprentice with EN:Able Futures, has been named Higher Apprentice of the Year at the West Yorkshire Apprenticeship Awards 2025.

Charlie, who is hosted by Termrim Construction, has stood out from the start for his exceptional work ethic, technical ability, and professionalism beyond his years. Choosing the apprenticeship route after completing a BTEC in Construction and the Built Environment, Charlie recognised the value of combining hands-on experience with academic study. His decision has proved to be a game-changer.

Since joining Termrim as an apprentice Quantity Surveyor, Charlie has taken on key project responsibilities, including subcontractor account management, valuation of completed works, and supporting overall project financial health. His rapid ability to learn and independently manage complex tasks has made a substantial impact on project delivery and efficiency.

Charlie’s contribution has helped streamline financial operations, allowing senior quantity surveyors to focus on strategic client and contract matters. His colleagues recognise him as a future leader—someone who sets a high standard for others to follow.

Tracy Worsnop, Charlie’s Apprenticeship Manager,  said “Charlie is a very worthy winner of this award, he has worked hard and  thoroughly enjoys his job, I look forward to seeing him progress to higher levels in the future.”

We are also proud to celebrate Georgia Mannion, another EN:Able Futures apprentice hosted by Termrim Construction, who was named a finalist for Advanced Apprentice of the Year. Georgia’s nomination is a reflection of her own hard work, talent and the positive impact she is making in her apprenticeship role. Her recognition highlights the breadth of emerging talent being developed through Termrim’s continued investment in apprenticeships.

Both Charlie and Georgia demonstrate the value of the apprenticeship route and the importance of supporting young people to build successful, future-ready careers in construction. We are incredibly proud to support them on their journeys and celebrate their achievements.
