We’re pleased to welcome Sam, a Level 2 Joinery Apprentice, who has recently started his apprenticeship with Caddick Construction on the Dane Park development in Hull. Hosted through EN:Able Futures and attending Hull College, Sam has settled in exceptionally well, with positive feedback from site colleagues highlighting his enthusiasm and strong start on the tools.
Sam is one of five apprentices appointed through EN:Able Futures’ Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Service to support the delivery of the Dane Park scheme—helping to create meaningful career opportunities while contributing to the local economy. Two of the apprentices are also training in bricklaying at NHBC’s Construction Hub in North Bransholme.
The Dane Park development is being delivered by Caddick Construction following their appointment via Direct Selection under the EN:Procure New Build Framework, which was designed to promote early contractor involvement, reduce risk, and bring added value to Hull City Council.
We look forward to seeing Sam continue to develop his skills and contribute to this exciting regeneration scheme.
