A warm welcome to the latest social housing provider to join our membership, Plus Dane Housing, a housing association with more than 13,500 homes across Merseyside and Cheshire.
Plus Dane Housing has been successful in their bid for Wave 1 of the government’s Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund. They are investing the grant funding in improvements to 62 properties in the Congleton area to EPC band C or above.
EN:Procure have supported Plus Dane Housing in appointing a partner to deliver one of the two main measures specified – a full cavity extract & refill - through the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Energy Efficiency Retrofit Installation Contractors. The successful partner is Dyson who will join the project team consisting of Q-bot (underfloor insulation contractor) and CC Ltd (Retrofit Assessor, Designer & Co-ordinator).
Following completion of the project, Plus Dane will aim to develop programmes of a similar nature with its appointed partners. The contract period will be for 1+1+1 years.
