Efficiency North has been very pleased to welcome another 5 social housing landlords into our membership over the past few months. Our total membership currently represents over 80% of Yorkshire and Humber social housing.
Efficiency North continues to grow year on year and is proud to welcome another diverse range of social housing providers - Home Group, Manningham Housing Association, Calder Valley Community Land Trust, Leeds and Yorkshire Housing Association and Beyond Housing.
Home Group, who are using the Reallies New Build Framework to develop a 210 housing scheme in Harrogate, one of two flagship “Persona” brand schemes in England, is one of the biggest housing associations in the UK, whilst Calder Valley Community Land Trust has a total of 6 homes.
Manningham Housing Association predominantly serving the South Asian Community in Bradford, which in its 30 years has grown from an organisation with two properties to one that now has nearly 1,400 homes and houses over 6,000 residents.
Beyond Housing is the new organisation formed by the merger of Coast & Country Housing and Yorkshire Coast Homes in October this year, taking care of 15,000 homes in the north east and North Yorkshire from their regional offices in Redcar and Scarborough.
Head of Membership Development, Carl Bairstow commented: “We' re looking forward to becoming a true procurement partner for all our new members, supporting their specific needs and their communities so we can achieve more together as a collective in terms of efficiencies and employment and training opportunities to support social mobility for those most in need.
"We’re also really pleased that, in addition to EN:Procure’s wide range of construction and related services frameworks with over 430 construction companies, suppliers and consultants of all shapes and sizes, we’re now able to offer members EN:Able Futures’ innovative academy for Housing and Infrastructure to address skills shortages in their organisations and EN:Able Build’s land development solution to enable them to unlock land for more much-needed new homes.”
