TSA Tenant Empowerment Programme
In February 2011 Housing Minister Grant Shapps announced £8m available funding for social housing tenants to improve their neighbourhoods (£2m in each of the next four financial years).
The programme is managed by the Tenant Services Authority on behalf of DCLG, supporting activities over and above the activities landlords should provide as part of their regulatroy responsibilties.
The money is for the set up of Tenants Panels where key decisions to improve the local area can be made.

The EnergyShare Fund
The EnergyShare fund has up to £500k available for inspiring renewable energy projects across Britain.
A registered community group can apply for up to £100,000. All EnergyShare asks is that projects:
- have the objective of saving or generating energy locally;
- are supported by their local community;
- will benefit the local community and have a tangible and lasting impact;
- some aspect of the project is realistically achievable within one year and will inspire even more community renewable projects.
