The EN Procure Legal Services Framework is an innovative collaborative procurement project consisting of three Efficiency North member organisations – Berneslai Homes of Barnsley, St Leger Homes of Doncaster and A1 Housing, Bassetlaw.
The Framework aims to offer an intelligent legal services procurement solution to Landlords and Public Sector bodies across the Yorkshire and Humber and Sheffield City Region.
Using the NEC3 Professional Services Contract the EN Procure Legal Services Framework aims to achieve the following through the application of a collaborative contracting approach:
- to deliver expenditure and process efficiencies against the annual framework throughput when benchmarked to existing Legal Services procurement arrangements;
- standardised service scoping and procurement call off processes to improve the control and visibility of cost;
- to offer improved certainty in terms of time, quality / performance and cost outcomes;
- to develop through the framework an intelligent cost database, which offers improved visibility of outturn cost.
Following a rigorous evaluation process the Framework Agreement for both Lots – Lot 1 General Legal and Property Services and Lot 2 Housing Management - was awarded to a sole provider Walker Morris.
The Framework became accessible from 15 May 2012 and has been extended to last until 31 May 2018.
