What better way to cut the ribbon to open our brand new blog than with a warm welcome to our two new members Yorkshire Housing and North Lincolnshire Homes. Both organisations bring with them a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for everything Efficiency North has to offer.
Yorkshire Housing is a charitable not-for-profit business providing more than 16,000 affordable homes throughout Yorkshire. The association provides nearly 400 sub-market and market rent homes in cities including Leeds, Wakefield, Bradford, Sheffield and York through Space Property, and acts as the government’s local agency for its HomeBuy products, helping people onto the housing ladder. They develop around 300 new affordable homes each year and plan to continue doing so.
North Lincolnshire Homes is the largest social landlord in the North Lincolnshire region and currently own and maintain almost 10,000 homes, re-investing all income into maintaining homes, improving services and financing new builds.
Efficiency North are very much looking forward to working with both organisations and widening our housing construction best practice network.
