Martyn is an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor with over 20 years experience within the residential asset management and refurbishment sector. He is currently responsible for the delivery of a £534m, 6 year investment programme to deliver improvements to 31,000 properties on behalf of Wakefield and District Housing.

To share experience with like minded organisations in order to improve proficient service delivery to tenants and offer best value for WDH.
Successes to date
- Coordinated OJEU procurement of large programme of works;
- Developed strategic partnering alliance and delivery mechanism;
- Positioned supply chain arrangements into place providing a 24% reduction on components;
- Successfully reduced levels of non decent homes in stock from 62% less than 10%;
- Completed over 90% of properties on time with customer satisfaction levels of 98%;
- Currently well positioned to deliver a £534m programme on target and within programme;
- Commenced WDH new build programme with 200 units per year being delivered;
- Developed a resourceful in-house asset management solution to direct capital investment;
- Gold award for sustainability under the Sustain Homes Index for Tomorrow (SHIFT)
